My Story

I first discovered Pilates in the early 2000’s and what initially got me hooked were the physical changes - I lost weight, toned and sculpted my whole body and felt stronger and more flexible than I ever had before. No other method of exercise I had tried (or have tried since) gave me the same kind of results.

In the years since, I have learned about and experienced all that Pilates has to offer and for me, what began as a favoured method of exercise has become a lifestyle. When I’m on my Pilates Reformer or Mat, breathing and moving, any worry, stress or anxiety that I might have been feeling fades away and I emerge from each session a happier, stronger and more confident version of myself.

In 2014, I decided to explore a STOTT Pilates certification program. My main motivation was to deepen my own practice and understanding of the method. I already had a career that I enjoyed so teaching Pilates to others wasn’t initially a part of my plan.

After completing my training, I was even more convinced of the power of Pilates and was inspired to share all that I had learned with as many people as possible. I decided then to start teaching and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Fast forward 8 years and I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of women at all ages and stages of life to help them reach their health and fitness goals. One of my greatest joys is working with my incredible clients and witnessing how a regular Pilates practice improves their physical body and quality of life, just as it has mine. 

Pilates is powerful and I know that no matter your age, stage of life, fitness level, goals, strengths or limitations, it has something incredible to offer you – Pilates is for everyBody.

For me, Pilates is more than just a movement practice, it’s a way of life. I can’t wait to share it with you.
